My favorite shot from the session… I just LOVE it!
Meet Keisha & Richard, one of my new most favorite couples!
These two have SUCH a contagious smile, I just couldn’t help but laugh and smile with them the whole time! This cute couple drove in from Baton Rouge for their session. Richard works for the Railroad out of Baton Rouge, which I think is too cool! He said he rides the train back and forth from Houston to New Orleans. I’ve never ridden a train, but I’d love to one day. (Hint hint, Adam!)
Congrats, you two! I cannot wait for your big day in August. Also, stay tuned for Keisha’s upcoming bridals in June!
I received this email from my sister-in-law, Tina, and just wanted to share it. I normally don’t open everything piece of mail from everyone regarding on going poems, jokes, etc, but Tina doesn’t send many and usually, they’re pretty good.
The Little Things
As you might know, the head of a company survived
9/11 because his son started kindergarten.
Another fellow was alive because it was
His turn to bring donuts.
One woman was late because her
Alarm clock didn’t go off in time.
One was late because he was stuck on the NJ Turnpike
Because of an auto accident.
One of them
Missed his bus.
One spilled food on her clothes and had to take
Time to change.
One’s car wouldn’t start.
One went back to
Answer the telephone.
One had a child that dawdled
And didn’t get ready as soon as he should have.
One couldn’t
Get a taxi.
The one that struck me was the man
Who put on a new pair of shoes that morning,
Took the various means to get to work
But before he got there, he developed
a blister on his foot.
He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid.
That is why he is alive today.
Now when I am
Stuck in traffic,
Miss an elevator,
Turn back to answer a ringing telephone…
All the little things that annoy me.
I think to myself,
This is exactly where
God wants me to be at this very moment…
Next time your morning seems to be going wrong,
The children are slow getting dressed,
You can’t seem to find the car keys,
You hit every traffic light,
Don’t get mad or frustrated;
God is at work watching over you.
May God continue to bless you
With all those annoying little things
And may you remember their possible purpose.
Have a great day!

To wrap up our afternoon, we brought some interesting items to incorporate into her bridal session… swords!
My brother’s a bit of a geek and loves playing W.O.W. (an online game that he’s grown up playing) and we thought we’d borrow a few things to play around with for his groom’s table prints of Lonni. I love these!

Meet Alonna again, my future sister-in-law! We took Alonna’s bridals a few weeks back and I’ve been dying to post some, but have yet to find the time. Isn’t she stunning?! We had an awesome session… Alonna made her favortes folder from her proofs and I went to check it and saw about 150! So, it did take us a bit to decide on our wall portraits for the wedding day, only because this girl cannot take a bad picture! Congrats, Lonni!
