Us & our boys

A few Sundays ago, we got together with some good friends of mine, Tim & Betty Evans from Orange, Texas, and FINALLY got some great pictures of Adam & I with our two great danes, Gordie and Duke.  Gordie (short for Gordan #24 lol) is the black & white one of the left & the Dukers is the old, fat, solid black one on the right.    They are our boys & we love them so much.  I HIGHLY doubt we will EVER own two great danes again, so it was awesome to get pictures with both of them together.  We took tons of great pictures, including some of Adam on his motorcycle, but I haven’t had time to edit them all yet! 

Check back for the Evans’ family session we’re having on Sunday, December 30th with their son, Dustin, who is currently serving as a U.S. Marine.  Getting family pictures before he flies back out is going to be very special for them.

Betty & Tim – Thank you SO much for coming all the way over here on your only day off!

Merry Christmas! (Studio closed til 1-3-08)

Tomorrow (Friday) will be my last day in the studio until after Christmas.  I’m sooo excited because I plan on blogging the tons of things we’ve had going on here within the past month that’s been “blog neglected” because of the craziness!

We will be closed from Monday, December 24 until Thursday, January 3rd for some much needed R&R and to “re-group” after such a hectic, but wonderful, holiday.

Kristan & I will also be working on switching LJP to Quickbooks, which will be very exciting (and a little different)!

I’ll also begin schooling her in the art of basic album design where she can help get the “base” of the albums together on the computer AND attempt to school her in my master mounting skills with our family & portrait albums.  

So, while we’ll probably be “in” the studio, we’ll only be “lightly” returning phone calls & emails, but pick right back up on scheduling, consultations, order & portrait sessions, emails, etc on 01-03-08.

And so, now that everyone has been “tended to”, it is finally now my turn to get the rest of the presents wrapped, go grocery shopping, and catch up on all of the holiday excitement.

Pretty little red car – for sale! :(

Yep, I’m pretty upset.  My little red RX-8 I’ve only had for 1 1/2 years is having to be sold. 

Well, it doesn’t HAVE to be sold, but it is time for something a little more spacious.  We’re in no hurry to sell it, but it is in the newspaper. 

It’s a 2005 Mazda RX-8.  $18,500 is what we’re looking for, but just call or email if you’re interested & we’ll go from there.

Precious Cole

Here’s just one little preview of Cole’s session we had recently.  I don’t think there was one I didn’t LOVE.  So SOOOOO many awesome things I’ll be posting soon – as soon as I get through this holiday, I’ll be able to share more!  Happy Tuesday.  L)

Little Hillary

I COMPLETELY fell in love with this little girl when I met her.  I want one just like her!   

Hillary, with the help of a very special friend , took Christmas pictures for her mom as her Christmas present.  It was a little chilly (during our last cold front – a few weeks back), but definately do able!  We all jumped in our cars with chilly hands and pink noses, but I think it was totally worth it!
