I’ve had several wedding consultations and we’ve FINALLY been able to get some of our sessions done (the rain HAS subsided momentarily 
) and I’ve been working on album designs a lot lately, including Hydee & Ryan’s, which I’ll be done with shortly!
But in the meantime, Teeters managed to sneak in the studio this afternoon, and I grabbed a picture of her while she’s keeping me company at the computer. Funny dog. Who chooses THIS spot to sit? Why not something more comfy, ya know?
So I just wrapped up returning emails, shooting out confirmations, checklists, invoices, etc and noticed something I don’t think I’ve seen in MONTHS (years, maybe j/k) – The “Inbox” icon NOT hollering the number of unread emails at me!
Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE emails! I love being able to write one at 11:00 at night. It makes inquiries, questions, and scheduling a whole lot easier. But it just seems everytime I turn around and think I’m finished, POOF! – there’s another one, calling my name from the other side of the blue bold print…. leaving a 24-hour constant “reply now” To-Do list. (The comedy in this? By the time this is posted and I’m back to work, I’m sure I’ll hear my phone going off, letting me know I have a new, unread email waiting for me!)

Okay, seniors, now is THE time to book your senior sessions! January is coming to an end and no, we’re not shooting these sessions right now, but booking our dates for February through April. **We only have a limited number of sessions open for March- perfect senior time- and February is already booked.**

Man, down here in Louisiana, I don’t think it could be ANY colder! 35 degrees, dark, and pouring down rain – it’s the worst! For all of us who are spoiled to warm (aka-HOT) weather, I’m breaking out jackets & sweaters I never need to wear!
So, to reminisce on the prettier days, I thought I’d blog one of my favorite pictures I took during Cole’s session back in December. When I posted my “8 trivial things about me” (a blog game photographers were doing last year), number #8 had to do with shooting some images just for myself. Well, that afternoon, I let Shannon & Cole leave when we finished the shoot, and I hung around and photographed this amazing property for awhile. I REALLY enjoyed it and I have many more I’ll get around to posting later.
But, for now, I thought of this picture as a kind of “pick me up” because it’s just too dang depressing when I look outside right now!

Okay, so finally I can finish blogging the pictures I’ve been so excited about! Yes, these two TRAILERED two bikes from Kinder for their engagement session. How awesome is that?! And me, being a new bike addict (I’m always begging Adam to go riding), I could not have been more excited!
This first picture was something I “dreamed up” the day before the session and my wonderful Dad went on a quest that morning (on HIS bike) to help me find the perfect blacktop (with a BRIGHT yellow line and good surroundings. I was thrilled that this part of the session went just as great as I had imagined!
Also, one LAST note – I promise! – This awesome chick has become a great friend of mine through Odessy 317 The Salon in LC. I think we’re going on a wonderful 3 or 4 year relationship now and I couldn’t be happier! lol So if you are looking for THE perfect chick, you’ll find her, along with Dwayne and the rest of the gang at 317 Alamo St. And, what’s even cooler, is that Adam & Robert have known each other since high school (many eons ago 
) and Robert lived on Jacob Scott Drive with Adam and I! So many connections here and I just COULD NOT be happier for them! I won’t be doing their wedding, as I have Katherine & Brandt’s wedding that afternoon, but we’ll be trying to swing by for the celebration later on that night! Congrats again, guys! I am SO HAPPY for all THREE of you.
