HOPPY Easter! ;)

Yes, I AM working on Easter.    :|  It’s cool, though.  We had planned on going up to the camp this weekend – it’s been planned for about a month.  But, I decided I would be WAY too stressed out being gone that long KNOWING how much stuff I have to do back here.  Work is, unfortunately, backing up a little bit.  But no worries!  I’m conquering a lot today! 

I’ve had such a HUGE amount of sessions lately with the great weather, holidays, brides, & seniors, that my whopping 2 TERABYTES of memory is maxed out.   Wow.  Puts stuff into perspective for me…  Anyway, so I have an extra few minutes to burn while I move memory around to make room for the 10+ sessions and wedding that’s to come in the next week.

I have been a terrible photographer lately – “snapping” only a few pictures here and there with my phone.  But Adam and I bought a new bike on Wednesday and “the boys” – Adam and his best bud Bryan – spent the entire gorgeous day riding.  He was sweet enough to save me from my PC for an hour on Wednesday and take me to Novrosky’s on our new bike.  I took a picture of the pair before we went in.

Nikka & Heath – these are for you!    It’s a  2008 Honda VTX 1800 with custom exhaust picked by Mr. Janies. 

You see where I go?  Right there chillin’ with my sissy bar and comfy seat.  I’m usually back there with my ipod, riding jacket (they’re padded for safety), and converse shoes. 

Here’s a snapshot of our “old” bike we bought last August.

And here, you have a scene from Good Friday – the fam playing baseball at my aunt & uncles after stuffing ourselves with DELICIOUS crawfish.  I didn’t play, but rather found a very comfy chair (that reclines!) and tried multiple times to nap with my aunt’s dog, Gracie, on my lap.  It was a MUCH NEEDED lazy afternoon.

My Pop, Uncle Steve, and I cheered on the teams.  (Everyone else was napping or having coffee inside.) 

And from the looks of my self-portrait here with Gracie (Sarah’s dog), you can see why everyone else was inside – I got burnt on Friday!

And lastly, a picture of the Teeters from Easter Sunday morning.  Adam & woke up, wished each other a “Happy Easter”, then laid there wishing we had kids so we could eat all of their chocolate bunnies this morning.  Chocolate bunnies ARE a weakness for Mr. Janies.  We may take a bike ride to CVS later on today and raid what’s left of the bunnies…

 Okay, so finally I can finish blogging the pictures I’ve been so excited about!  Yes, these two TRAILERED two bikes from Kinder for their engagement session.  How awesome is that?!  And me, being a new bike addict (I’m always begging Adam to go riding), I could not have been more excited!

This first picture was something I “dreamed up” the day before the session and my wonderful Dad went on a quest that morning (on HIS bike) to help me find the perfect blacktop (with a BRIGHT yellow line and good surroundings.  I was thrilled that this part of the session went just as great as I had imagined!

Also, one LAST note – I promise! – This awesome chick has become a great friend of mine through Odessy 317 The Salon in LC.  I think we’re going on a wonderful 3 or 4 year relationship now and I couldn’t be happier!  lol    So if you are looking for THE perfect chick, you’ll find her, along with Dwayne and the rest of the gang at 317 Alamo St.  And, what’s even cooler, is that Adam & Robert have known each other since high school (many eons ago ) and Robert lived on Jacob Scott Drive with Adam and I!  So many connections here and I just COULD NOT be happier for them!  I won’t be doing their wedding, as I have Katherine & Brandt’s wedding that afternoon, but we’ll be trying to swing by for the celebration later on that night!  Congrats again, guys!  I am SO HAPPY for all THREE of you.

I had these AWESOME couple’s pre-wedding session last Saturday and it’s just killing me to get them all edited and up!  I only have two here for now, but I’ll be posting more after Katherine & Brandt’s engagement session Monday afternoon! 

And, to keep things interesting – here’s two detail shots of two DIFFERENT bikes – a kind of “his & hers” thing – for April & Robert.  (It was their “something special” they brought along for the session.)  I’ll be posting some of those soon!
