Goofy - fun - AWESOME - memorable.
That would describe shooting my friends’ little sister, whom I’ve watched grow up for the past SEVEN years. Ashley was AMAZING for her session and it was so fun to play with her until I “pulled” every different side of her personality OUT for me to see. This first image is so strong, and for several reasons. What I love most about my career is that I feel it’s my JOB to show WHO you are through these images. I have to. It’s like I can’t stop until I do. Seniors are always my favorite. The stories behind one image are SO GREAT. I think knowing what was actually going on when one image is captured makes it so fun. This is one of THE LAST images of the day. I knew there was a stronger, more relaxed and confident side of Ashley that I needed to get from her. I asked her one thing. Something only her and I know. And this is what she gave me. I just love it. Sessions like this just makes me SO THANKFUL I’ve found what I feel I was meant to do.

Yes, PEOPLE, these eyes are REAL gorgeous blue eyes.

Thanks Ashley, for such a great afternoon! I got your email and loved it! I had a blast as well!

We such an AMAZING senior session with this awesome guy from Lacassine High a few weeks back. If every guy was as comfortable in front of the camera as this one, I’d be set! For whatever reason, I got a real “classic high school/vintage retro feel” with him and our session, and I really liked the results.

I asked if he had a class ring. He said no, but instead had something better - his track championship ring for track. How awesome is that?!

I LOVE every one of these last few…

Kyle
We had Kyle’s senior session last week, which was SO much fun running around town with him & Kristan that I still have LOTS more to blog. But I thought I’d just start with these… more to come.

Edit – a few more:

Okay, so patheically enough, I’m (somewhat) proud to deem these next two shots my idea.
P YES, we did goof around a lot that afternoon! Kyle IS a pretty tall guy…

The colors above are STRAIGHT out of the camera. (Only adjustments were brightness & contrast.) The sun peaking through after such a dark rainy day gave these fall red & blue colors.

And just one more of Mr. Kyle looking pretty slick.
Just a handful more coming soon… Here’s a detail shot of some to come…
