Meet Kelly & Glen! We had an awesome time two Mondays ago on a chilly, but beautiful day. (Can you TELL how badly I need to catch up?!) Their wedding is this June (a much warmer season) & I can’t wait! This couple is so laid back & lighthearted, which always makes our sessions so easy.

Meet Jada! We had a great session two Saturdays ago just running all over the Lake Area! We started with a classic 1950’s Chevy Corvette & then worked our way around from there. Her dress & veil were awesome & she was gorgeous!
Jada- Thank you so much for the sweet card! I haven’t had a chance to call yet, but I will! 🙂
These two had an absolutely gorgeous wedding on the 28th of October. The ceremony was at the beautiful Cathedral with their reception following at the Civic Center. Congrats, you two!
Obviously, it’s been a little while since this wedding! I’m working hard on getting up all of my new posts as soon as I can. Taking two 5 day trips in two weeks definately puts a toll on anyone that’s self-employed & busy! I’ve learned not to do that again. 🙂
Stay tuned for many more upcoming overdue posts!
This was such an amazing couple!
For starters, they definately have a sense of humor! (Let’s just say I was feeling terrible that day & I wasn’t all “there” when it came to conversation… :)) We had a great session on Monday hanging around the LC area. We had originally planned on shooting south of Lafayette, with them driving in from Livingston, but we had a last minute change of plans with Scott trailering his awesome, chrome-accented Harley Davidson. (For all you bike people…it was a “Road King”… ?!)
I’ve really been educated on Harley’s lately, from my past two e-sessions with these awesome bikes, and, of course, my husband, who’s been having bike fever lately & feels that if I know more about them, I’ll be more convinced to give in. (Ha ha)
Anyway, it was a beautiful day & a great session to kick off the new times for all sessions (with daylight savings time last Saturday). I can’t wait for Lori’s bridals & their upcoming December wedding.
Meet the five Guillory sisters!
Evelyn Ardoin (the one all the way to the left) contacted me weeks ago, telling me about her & her sisters’ annual October visit to the beautiful River’s Edge Bed & Breakfast in Westlake. She said they’ve done this for years…meeting up for one weekend of R&R. These sisters are close in heart, but live miles apart.
We met one Saturday morning, after they enjoyed an amazing breakfast, & had an awesome session! We captured some very cute family pictures along the riverside, then took a few individual shots of some of the sisters before they “get all wrinkled up”!
When we were finishing our session, I asked Evelyn where her husband’s family was from (“Ardoin” being my maiden name) & found there really wasn’t a family connection. However, about 2 minutes later, we quickly realized we were connected, but in a totally different way! These women actually lost their sixth sister years ago. Her & my grandmother were best friends growing up & she was my dad’s godmother! What a small place this world seems sometimes. 🙂
