There is a little boutique here in Sulphur that I LIVE at for Parker’s clothes, toys, our new JOGGER stroller, etc, etc. It’s a cute little children’s store and consignment shop on MaplewoodDrive that just had a complete face lift, compliments of it’s new owners, Christine & Beverle Machulski!
Being a young mom herself, Christineis having so much FUN bringing in PRECIOUS new bows, shoes, outfits, and more! My absolute FAVORITE part of the boutique: HER CONSIGNMENT CLOTHES! omg. I used to think of consignment as something I never really thought twice about purchasing, until two things occured: 1.) I had a baby and realized how friggin’ fast they grow and my $50 outfit didn’t last more than one wear(like literally – one time, PBJ grew ONE INCH in a week!) and 2.) when I found Christine’s consignment clothes – they’re in mint condition – perfect. Like, half still have tags on them. And the type of outfits they are – outfits that I just priced elsewhere brand new for $35 – with a NINE DOLLAR TAG on them. Todaymy mom came home with a Tommy Hilfiger one piece for $8.99. 😀
Since we’ve shopped at the B.C., Parker doesn’t even really wear a lot of t-shirt outfits from Wal-Mart or Target. We have tons of little coordinated shirts & overall outfits all by kissy kissy and other super soft super sweet and so SO cute one pieces. It’s just awesome to be able to buy things like that for the same price as a regular new cotton onsie. She also has on consignment little baby and toddler toys, swings, bouncies, jogger strollers, etc; really whatever her customers bring in that is up to her (very clean/”new” feel standards). The comic part of this?! That I’m kind of regretting to share my secret spot! lol 😉
So, if you’re interested in consigning – give her a call! 337-626-6020 Or stop by @ 2304 A Maplewood Drive here in Sulphur. And if you just want to shop, go by and say “hi” (and tell ’em you saw her little girl on Lindsey’s blog)!
So ANYWAY, here are some of the images Christine had me create to promote the “Cottage”. (This is part 1 of 2.) Our model: her GORGEOUS four year old, Morgan…
the cutest little cotton summer outfits…
headbands & tutus
(a consignment peice) a classic little girl’s dress (I can’t think of the name of these.. someone leave a comment if you know!) My mom dressed me in these dresses all the time…
one of my favorites – they carry a line of Pillowcase Dresses, with the matching accessories.
Stay tuned for part 2 – coming up in May!
This little girl is SO precious! Parker does need a g/f… 😉 I’ve been just a big pile of mush the entire time I’ve been processing these; Ariel just says I’m a huge nerd and stop trying to set up PBJ with a girl ALREADY! 😦 hehe
Sweet baby girl. Check back to watch this little one grow up – she’ll be back with our Watch Them Grow Collection to document her first year milestones!
Addisyn hung out in Parker’s water pail for a little bit, but she wasn’t near as excited about it as her mom & I were…
another favorite. (BTW – we DID get a lot of really cute/happier – haha – ones, but these just tended to be two more favorites! I know, I’m so mean. ;P)
Look at those eyes.
If you’ve been a “blog stalker” of mine for two or more years, you’ve probably watched this little person grow up! Just like her big sister, Nell, I ALWAYS look forward to photographing this one. The first time I met Emily & her beautiful girls, Eve was about 10 days old and so so precious. Well, as you can see, she’s been growing fast! At the “big girl” age of THREE, she has developed into such a funny personality. It’s princess meets tom boy. Halariously awesome. 😉 Happy Birthday, big girl!
Playing dress up.
Want to see something neat? You can watch Nell & Eve grow throughout the past three years by visiting old posts here! (I think it’s cool how you can also see how much a photographer’s style & imaging evolves throughout the years. 🙂
Okay, so, I DO realize my child is dressed in a Halloween costume in the middle of Spring. haha Poor Parker. 🙂 BUT, I found it a few months ago marked WAY down and thought how cute it would be when HE’S SIX MONTHS OLD. That’s what the tag read, so I believed that the tag and brand knew the size of MY baby and I trusted (aka- ASSUMED) that they’d be right and he’d be sitting up and SO DAMN CUTE in a Super Baby outfit with the cape draped down next to him. Typical first time mom mistake. 😐 So, before Parker would grow ANY LONGER, I dressed him up and got creative. (or tried to, at least!)
Plus, as an added bonus, ever since we did these pictures (about 2 weeks ago – sad that it’s been that long, I know) Parker LOVES being Super Baby! He thinks it is SO FUNNY that he’s higher than Mommy & Daddy. I’m just waiting for the day when his dad does this right after a big meal. hehe 😀
So, after many many MANY requests for updated pictures of “Tha Boy”, here he is!
Then I stuffed him in an wooden water pail. Poor baby. 😉
I want something cheesy at the top of this, like “Hoppy Easter”. haha I know. I’m a geek.
Parker’s also found his hands about a month ago and is COMPLETELY obsessed with them. Once they find their way to his mouth, there’s no going back.
This face cracks me up. He ALWAYS has that wide-eyed look. (Just like his mom…lol)
Daddy became the “floor”. Hey- what else can you do with a 3 month old?! It’s almost like sitting…
And lastly, an outtake. “Big/Little Sister” Teeters wanted to join the fam. Good luck to Teeters when that boy is crawlling! 😀
Had a blast a little while ago with this cute little guy!
Love this first one… such a typical “Mom” moment. How many times in a mom’s life do you think one will spend tying shoes?! Hmmm… Sounds like a toostie pop question. 😉
Such a big boy! HAD to do it all by himself!
Patiently waiting, eyeing the playground.
C’s mom has such a gorgeous smile.
And a last comical one. “Butt First” would be appropriate. Ariel helping Carter slide like a fireman. (Something I think he had to do about 15 times!)
Thank you, little man, for a very entertaining afternoon! 🙂
