Okay, so, I DO realize my child is dressed in a Halloween costume in the middle of Spring. haha Poor Parker. 🙂 BUT, I found it a few months ago marked WAY down and thought how cute it would be when HE’S SIX MONTHS OLD. That’s what the tag read, so I believed that the tag and brand knew the size of MY baby and I trusted (aka- ASSUMED) that they’d be right and he’d be sitting up and SO DAMN CUTE in a Super Baby outfit with the cape draped down next to him. Typical first time mom mistake. 😐 So, before Parker would grow ANY LONGER, I dressed him up and got creative. (or tried to, at least!)
Plus, as an added bonus, ever since we did these pictures (about 2 weeks ago – sad that it’s been that long, I know) Parker LOVES being Super Baby! He thinks it is SO FUNNY that he’s higher than Mommy & Daddy. I’m just waiting for the day when his dad does this right after a big meal. hehe 😀
So, after many many MANY requests for updated pictures of “Tha Boy”, here he is!
Then I stuffed him in an wooden water pail. Poor baby. 😉
I want something cheesy at the top of this, like “Hoppy Easter”. haha I know. I’m a geek.
Parker’s also found his hands about a month ago and is COMPLETELY obsessed with them. Once they find their way to his mouth, there’s no going back.
This face cracks me up. He ALWAYS has that wide-eyed look. (Just like his mom…lol)
Daddy became the “floor”. Hey- what else can you do with a 3 month old?! It’s almost like sitting…
And lastly, an outtake. “Big/Little Sister” Teeters wanted to join the fam. Good luck to Teeters when that boy is crawlling! 😀
Adam & Hannah say these two constantly have opposing personalities; if one is sleepy, the other is awake! If one is happy; the other starts fussing. I love this mirror-like picture.
Meet Brady, the awake one. Absolutely PRECIOUS.
And Dallas, the sleepy one!
Daddy keeping the bright light away.
He did wake up; it just took a little longer! My favorite of Dallas.
The little burritos again.
The “awake” window between eating and sleeping is so short. Putting them down for a late morning nap was the perfect way to end their busy morning!
Hannah – one question:
Did you have HEARTBURN when you were preggo?! 😉
SUCH sweet and precious boys with the most AMAZING parents. 🙂 Congrats again, guys!
My two mommies at the top are due in March – yay for Zach & Emma! I can’t wait to meet both of you! And the last mommy here has had her TWINS and I’m proud to say I met them last week! They are GORGEOUS and you’ll be getting sneak peaks at some of my favorites soon!
Just wanted to share a few images from my recent maternity sessions – preggo mommies – DO THIS or you will regret it later! Trust all of us and ask these girls here. It’s so fun and such an empowering and amazing time of your life to capture. (Don’t think you’re “gutsy” enough? Go down a few posts and you’ll see ME a few months ago – the “bravest” preggo subject of all! lol 😉
Emily and I have been working at getting together for this session since at least July, so I couldn’t have been more thrilled that we finally got the images we’ve talked about for so long! Nell is THE cutest little ballerina and her mom really wanted to capture this little peice of her five year old life. So, we started in the studio… I love this first image. I had it printed as a panoramic gallery wrapped canvas for the studio and it’s gorgeous!
She’s quite a silly little girl. I’ve been photographing her and her sister for years now. It’s been awesome watching her blossom into such a gorgeous girl.
Me attempting to capture just a TASTE of the energy Nell was packin’ that day… :o)
We then headed to the park.
We headed to a little malt shop to wrap up the day. This has to be THE most colorful ice cream ever. DANG.
Only an awesome mom like Emily would give her daughter that color ice cream, in a cone, and wearing a cute outfit! lol Good job, Em! I’m taking notes. ;o)
Thank you both for such a great afternoon! It was great catching up with you, Emily!
Another session from “Tiny Kid Week”!
There isn’t too many other sessions that I can love more than one like this one. Ariel & I took a little road trip one afternoon to Nederland to meet Stella and her family and celebrate her SECOND birthday with a session all her own. “All her own” meaning this was Stella’s day – her birthday and her session at her place! It was so much fun.
Thank you, Christy, for opening your home to us! 🙂
LOVE those pigtails & bows.
Thank you, Keely, for the referral!!
