This guy wears many hats…. he does rodeo, guitar, football, (more stuff I can’t think of), and STILL managed to receive a handful of academic awards as well! I need to learn some time management skills from this guy. 😉
Kobi, you were great. Can you TELL I had fun with him & his friggin’ AWESOME blue guitar?! It’s almost overkill, I know, but it was so much fun & they just happened to be some of my fav. 😀
Jacob chose to have his images created at a demo site his dad’s company was working at. His older brother, Trey, and the tiniest Wilkerson, Wyatt, also met up with us there. Wyatt just can’t get enough of those bulldozers and big machines. So, you’ll also see some images sprinkled through here of the little W running around having a blast with his uncle and dad. Love it! 😉
But first, meet Jacob…
Creole Boy just about sums up Jacob. It worked out great. Another great JW idea. 😉
Look how cool these “dudes” are! ;D
Thank you, Jacob, for an amazing session and awesome afternoon! We had a great time. Congrats!
I needed to dust off the cameras and see if I still remembered how to do this, so I grabbed my youngest brother as a test subject and we headed out. With Parker keeping me “on a pretty tight leash” (lol), we had about THIRTY MINUTES to play! It was so much fun and Mark & I hadn’t hung out by ourselves in awhile, so it was definately enjoyable!
BTW – If you haven’t heard Darius Rucker’s popular “It Won’t Be Like This for Long” song, omg – download it now! My mom had me d/l it when the boy was about 10 days old, and between the sleep deprivation, beautiful baby, and crazy hormones, I cried my eyes out. It’s so gorgeous. 🙂 And his voice is nice, too!
Goofy – fun – AWESOME – memorable. 🙂
That would describe shooting my friends’ little sister, whom I’ve watched grow up for the past SEVEN years. Ashley was AMAZING for her session and it was so fun to play with her until I “pulled” every different side of her personality OUT for me to see. This first image is so strong, and for several reasons. What I love most about my career is that I feel it’s my JOB to show WHO you are through these images. I have to. It’s like I can’t stop until I do. Seniors are always my favorite. The stories behind one image are SO GREAT. I think knowing what was actually going on when one image is captured makes it so fun. This is one of THE LAST images of the day. I knew there was a stronger, more relaxed and confident side of Ashley that I needed to get from her. I asked her one thing. Something only her and I know. And this is what she gave me. I just love it. Sessions like this just makes me SO THANKFUL I’ve found what I feel I was meant to do. 🙂
Yes, PEOPLE, these eyes are REAL gorgeous blue eyes.
Thanks Ashley, for such a great afternoon! I got your email and loved it! I had a blast as well! 😉
